Job Description

We are working with a wholesale & design company that is looking to add a Sourcing Manager to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams including product development, design, and supply chain management, to develop sourcing strategies and production plans.
• Identify and qualify potential suppliers/vendors based on cost, quality, and reliability criteria.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor production schedules and proactively address any issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions and drive competitive advantage.
• Support new product development initiatives by sourcing new materials/components and conducting supplier evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in production planning, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the Electronics, Beauty, Home, Lighting, or Wellness industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
