Job Description

Luminary Group, is partnered with a leading global provider of real-world evidence solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join their team and expand our market presence in the United States. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team in the real-world evidence (RWE) space. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry and contribute to the advancement of evidence-based decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive market penetration in the United States.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and payer organizations.
  • Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to maximize their performance and achieve individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to develop and execute effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and market challenges.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company and customers.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvement to senior leadership.
  • Represent Luminary Group at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to network with potential clients and promote our real-world evidence solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Prior experience in selling real-world evidence solutions or related healthcare technology services is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare providers, and payer organizations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States, as required.
