Job Overview Real Estate Investing Firm and Construction Company in need of Office Manager with Bookkeeping experience. We are searching for the right individual to join our compact team. You must be well organized, detail-oriented, analytical, work well under pressure and must be flexible working with changing priorities and tight timeframes. Part of your duties will be monitoring general accounting practices, budgeting, developing internal accounting controls, data input into QuickBooks and Account reconciliations . The successful candidate for this position will report directly to Ownership and plays an instrumental role in the growth and financial future of the company. We are growing and want someone to grow with us! Although we are a relaxed office environment, we do have a retail presence and each day we are prepared for something new.

Responsibilities :

· Day-to-day accounting operations and entries and ensure that there is a redundant process in place for every critical operation.

· Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies.

· Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for management and ownership.

· Implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules.

· Daily entries and account reconciliation.

· Management of office space.

· Management of various corporate entities under the overall corporate umbrella.

· Basic on-site human resource duties (majority is outsourced)

· Payroll review.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred)
• 5+ years' experience in accounting and management
• Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills (Required)
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Knowledge of General Accounting Principles & Practices (Required)
• Good attitude
• Previous experience in Real Estate and/or Construction is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
